shops seen below, which contain a lot of unique handmade, printed, and
multimedia products, help fund freeware projects like Panoramic
Worlds, Miniature Multiverse, and Spiral Skies, and keep them moving forward!
Please take a look at some of these even if only briefly, and also consider following on social media (near the bottom of page).
SPIRAL SKIES is a small side project with several simple puzzles and a modest explorable world, that I'm creating in between shifts working on 'Panoramic Worlds' and other bigger virtual-world efforts.
WHAT IS SPIRAL SKIES?
It's a (very small) point and click, first-person puzzle adventure minigame which began with a traditional pre-rendered interface.
It's about exploring an alien world which you've crashlanded on.
What you'll notice very quickly is that you probably weren't the first one there.
'Spiral Skies' is designed for release on Itch.IO, and I'm hoping it draws some attention back here (even if only indirectly) and perhaps more crucial, generates a bit of funding that would help me wrap up Panoramic Worlds a bit faster.
The game was to be developed as a traditional point-and-click pre-rendered game made with Construct 2, but is now being transitioned to realtime 3D in Unity.
I'm still hoping to have this done sometime in early 2019. Sorry about missing 2018 target - a lot of 2018 was inefficient for my productions, as I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from my original home in Houston, Texas that year!
The game is now planned to be accessible in its entirety, completely for free - except for an optional DVD version sold on eBay occasionally (much like Panoramic Worlds), and optional player donations on Itch.IO.
I'm working on a trailer and some other big updates to show which will be revealed hopefully very soon.
